Tribunes Publiques
Date du début: 29 févr. 2016, Date de fin: 28 juil. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

As both a collective sport and a space of performance, football is an environment incorporating varied kinds of discussion and interaction. On the field, players shout and mime to communicate whilst in the stands spectators sing and dance; in the changing room the footballers' bodies are tense and focused on the strategy whereas the bus is a confined space allowing for long-talks and celebrations... These different kinds of exchange will serve as reference points for the participants of the « Tribunes publiques » in order to create new ways of debating the political process. In February 2016, a research group of 30 young adults composed of players, supporters, spatial design students, activists and political representatives will work on that question during a week of structured dialogue. The workshops will be hosted at : UNESCO, the Assemblée Nationale, IRCAM, Montreuil Town Council, Bauer Stadium of Saint-Ouen and the offices of the European Parliament in Paris. The project exists as part of a network of various partners bringing together sociocultural and sports organisations as well as political representatives. Different types of workshops (incorporating analysis, expression and retranscription) will bring the participants to interrogate their own political practices as well as those that they identify in the world around them; beginning by looking at current democratic processes with a view to sourcing new proposals.
