Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 31 août 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The aim of this project is to increase the independence and autonomy of persons with disabilities with special focus on people with intellectual disabilities through the development and implementation of methods for individual coaching social. The recipients of the project are European organizations and institutions working for the benefit of the wider adult education of persons with disabilities, staff working with people with disabilities and disabled people indirectly.Self-reliance is the need of every human being. Each of us has a desire to influence the course of their lives, decide about themselves and control how much wants to be subject to external influences. As far as I want, and not on how many I have. Independence of disabled people, shaping their own "I" is an important need in the vital (physical aspect of independence, self-service) and broadly understood (mental aspect of autonomy, subjectivity). In people with disabilities will be the relative independence of everyday life, self-realization in work, the ability to start a family and the satisfactory operation of the social structures. Independence associated with autonomy, and therefore the ability to responsibly manage their behavior; making the choice, taking into account their own and others' needs; shaping social relations on a reciprocal basis. Europe is a region economically strong but the relationship between poverty and intellectual disability is so clear here, as everywhere else. All available data say about the extremely high unemployment, poor access to education and exclusion of socio-cultural. These problems greatly affect not only the people with intellectual disabilities, but also their families. Families often face barriers that prevent full participation in society - and yet they are an important link between a disabled person and the local community. Therefore, there is need to prepare personnel who could effectively work on the independence of adults with intellectual disabilities. The project partners are seeing the need to support people with disabilities to improve their autonomy, they decided to develop an innovative method of social coaching, train staff and instructors to implement a test method among the target group.
