Treed Life

In this scenario where the NGOs and Cooperative enterprises are growing, the third sector is the new work field for young people with competences in project management, non formal education, international cooperation and community development. "Treed Life" was a seminar with experts and young people from different organizations in order to reflect about what is the third sector, what are the needs and which are the tools useful to analyze it and develop it. The main objective was to foster the quality in the youth organizations and during the seminar we discovered how much is strong this need. The Giosef Italy association did this European seminar of 7 days (with travel days) in Enna (Sicily) from 12th of March to 18th of March 2015 named "Treed Life" in cooperation with Hungary, Romania, Turkey, Portugal, Spain and Poland involving 6 people from each Country for a total number of 50 people including staff and facilitators. The topics were the needs,the law, and economic tools of the organizations belonging to the third sector, in particular the one working in the youth filed. The aims was to provide tools to analyze it and what means to work in this field and how many different kind of job profiles are in that. We produced a video to disseminate the project and were we can see the process and a final document where we collected the methods used to facilitate the seminar and the output from each activites. The booklet is a collection of good proactices and a very useful instruments for youthworkers and youth organization to develop itselves. We spread these output of the project in order to share as much as possibile the results and to have new tools to develop youth organization and professionalize it. The last day of the seminar was dedicated to project partnership activities and we put the bases for future coperation in particular for strategic partnership to develop the profesionalities of the organizations and for community development.
