TERMINÉ
This project follows the quality and lifelong improvement policy of the organisation (acknowledged in 2010 and 2012 with the Leonardo Da Vinci Mobility Certificate) and it is also framed in the European Development Plan of AEVA-EPA. The application for this project is being made for two years and aims, on the one hand, to provide an answer to the training and qualification needs of students, teachers and companies, by offering 16 students attending the 2nd and 3rd year of the several professional courses the possibility to do an internship for ten weeks (Work-Based Learning) in an international context and, on the other hand, it aims to offer one week training opportunity to four teachers, in the countries hosting the mobilities of students, within a comparative and lifelong improvement perspective, allowing them to contact with new approaches/organizational procedures and learn, replicate, multiply and apply in their own professional practice what they will learn. During the ten-week period, students will develop their Work-Based Learning in the hosting country. Senior students will also develop their Proof of Professional Aptitude (PAP).
A considerable part of the beneficiaries of the project belongs to less favoured families. We have also considered students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in this project. We therefore hope to help promote equal opportunities of success for all. SEN students will be accompanied for the whole period which, in their case, will be of two weeks. During their stay, the accompanying teacher will be able to observe good working practices in a European context and to also share some of the good practices he/she already has in his/her own country/institution. It will be a great opportunity to examine and compare the best working procedures in both countries.
This is also an interdisciplinary project whose focus relies on the application of the contents belonging to technical training areas and subjects. Therefore, it will allow students the possibility to learn new methodologies and procedures, in an adequate institutional, organizational and working environment. It will allow both teachers and students to get acquainted with new cultures, new working tools, new people and new languages, promoting European mobility and an attitude of acceptance and receptivity to other forms of being or acting, as well as attitudes and strategies for adaptation to change, according to the goals defined in the Europe 2020 strategy.
Ultimately, it is also a goal of this project to share the good practices of the coordinating institution regarding the management of procedures and to work on a transnational basis in order to improve actions and measures, hoping to acquire, develop, appropriate and reproduce innovative methodologies regarding vocational and professional teaching and training.
