TRANZITFOGLALKOZTATÁS KIDOLGOZÁSA ÉS ALKALMAZÁSA

The main objectives of the project include: establishment of effective partnerships between the employment offices, economic and non-profit organizations for better usage of the existing labor force, creating the so-called transit employment points; exploring and promoting the idea of transit employment as a method, generating new checkpoints which shall employ such workforce. Cross-border impact of the project: inclusion of jointly designed instruments, applicable in the system of employment institutions, into local and national regulations, and support of amendments to the law with the aim of harmonizing the labor market in cross-border areas and encouraging a broader application of transit employment practice; the realization of long-term and effective cooperation of experts from the cross-border region has tamed some existing prejudices, as well as the suspiciousness that previously prevailed in the cross-border area. Achievements: The holding of the 2nd Croatian-Hungarian conference on employment policy resulted in cooperation being conducted at a higher level. The Western Transdanubian Regional Employment Office and the Croatian Employment Service acted as catalysts for the cooperation; proceedings on the subject of labor market features in the crossborder area and methodology of transit employment, published in Croatian and Hungarian
