According to recent studies, hardly 10% of visitors to museums in Nord-Pas de Calais are Belgian, and this is also true the other way around.To deal with this problem, the partners in the cross-border area develop a museum and site network themed around the two World Wars. The French partners draw on the expertise of West-Flanders that already has a structured network to implement a joint promotion policy. Their aim is to attract a maximum of visitors to both regions.
