Transfer and adaptation of the new training itineraries for the qualification in the rural realm

The aims and objectives of the project were:1. Improve the quality of the European VET system by adapting and integrating innovative results and contents.2. Transfer the results to rural groups in need of specific qualification related to endogenous resources.3. Select innovative contents (manuals, didactic units, pilot course, etc. in order to achieve actual labour market insertion) so as to meet transfer requirements.4. Adapt contents to curricular designs, culture and needs, as well as to target user needs.5. Transfer the contents to new social, cultural and linguistic backgrounds.Characteristics of the consortium: The Transnational Association of project MYRCAS had previous experience in transnational cooperation projects, and comprised different types of actors. It consisted of 7 partners from 6 countries, which widened the scope of the transfer activity and adapted it to expectations and project needs and to the target groups.Impact achieved:• Awareness and qualification of the target groups: unskilled youth in rural areas, rural women, disadvantaged groups: immigrants and disabled people, social actors connected with the rural sector, specially with chestnut-tree & organic farming and mycology, and wide public interested in vocational topics within the Project.• Removal of any obstacle preventing labour market insertion.• Promotion of associationism and multidisciplinary team working in order to encourage continuous education. • Boost the qualification and training of those rural groups in need.• Improvement of the employment, knowledge, economic conditions and general life conditions of the target groups of the rural areas.• Social actors of the rural realm have received tools and information that will be able to use to promote any other interested area, thus contribute to sustainable local development.• The VET institutions exposed to the dissemination activities undertaken have had access to new training contents that will allow them to structure training courses promoting the issues of the project.
