The project aims to build the knowledge, skills and competences of 80 students from three vocational schools of tourism from different regions in the country through a two-week educational mobility practice at a real workplace in the hotel complex „Pine Bay Holiday Resort“ in Kusadasi and a visit of the vocational school of tourism in Kusadasi, Turkey. The trainees will be selected from classes for hotel administrators/managers, office assistants, food and catering, animators, etc., based on their previous knowledge and after an interview and test. The final selection will be made by a committee comprised by members of the partner schools. Their level of training in the field of tourism, their motivation and desire to work in the field, good command of the language and performance in class will have an impact on the selection procedure. The practice will be held in two groups of 40 people in April-May 2017 in „Pine Bay” hotel in Kusadasi. Students will get acquainted with the activities of the hotel and its employees and will be able to participate in the work of all units - the reception, kitchen, lobby, restaurant, the hotel manager, supportive staff and all persons responsible for the maintenance, servicing and logistics. The students and the accompanying teachers will also visit the vocational high school of tourism in Kusadasi, where they will exchange experiences and good practices which will be transferred and adapted to the learning process of the sending schools.The participation in mobility will help enhance the professional skills of the students and their motivation for active involvement in the learning process and the use of the opportunities offered to upgrade their knowledge and skills. The participants will improve their linguistic preparation for autonomous use of the English language and terminology specific to the profession. The practice will help them to acquire skills, such as professionalism, discipline, ability to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment and others. They will get acquainted with the business requirements and the necessary criteria, which they should cover, in order to be successful in the European labor market.The union of 3 vocational schools for tourism from different regions in a consortium and the support of the business community will aid the planning, organization and implementation of the mobility and the dissemination of results and best practices among more potentially interested parties, and will increase the effect and impact on both local and regional level.The implementation of “Transeuropean cooperation in tourism” project will help to increase the popularity and quality of the vocational education will help create a stronger link between the education system and existing business and help the realization at the labor market of the young learners.
