WHY?Associazione Eufemia was born in 2010 with a group of young motivated people from different areas and with some experience in international experiences that was interested in expanding their network locally and internationally. 100Portas, born in 2015 as an informal youth group is taking the same path. After a 1 year EVS project with Associazione Eufemia, the participant engaged deeply with other social realities working in the field of youth and a partnership between the different organizations arose.Since the project is being done in cooperation with the participant herself, the planned mobility was analysed and structured according to the specific needs and priorities of 100Portas and its aims. Rita, as the responsible for the Informal Group was assigned as the participant since she already worked with Eufemia as an EVS volunteer and cooperated with Comune di Rivoli and Informagionavi Rivoli, knowing the organizations’ modus operandis. During the stay in Turin, the participant also came in contact with Informagiovani Torino and its staff during their local activities.The mobility will allow Rita to improve the skills necessary to implement and to develop projects on her local reality by supervising the different activities in loco and being trained by experienced staff, working in different realities but for the same goals and for youth.Since the activities that the Italian partners have been developing are the ones to be further implemented in Portugal, their knowledge, competences, methods and years of experience serve as assets in the training of the participant and meet directly the objectives of the portuguese group.PARTNERS 100Portas - PortugalAssociazione Culturale Eufemia - ItalyInformagiovani Torino, Informagiovani Rivoli and Comune di Rivoli - ItalyWHERE? Nonetheless, it is a training designed and developed in strict cooperation between all parts that attends for their specific domands and competences with concrete and realistic objectives.It constitutes a chance for an informal group to acquire different instruments and tools in order to validate their operative capacities and to enhance their position. The fact that it is made in an international environment contributes for the bigger visibility and to reinforce international cooperation and networking, broadening the range of intervention. This project is alsoan opportunity to streghten the cooperation between local partners and to exchange inputs, different activities and good practices in order for all the actors involved to continue a process of innovation.
