Training for Theatre Trainers
Date du début: 1 sept. 2015, Date de fin: 31 août 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project was concentrated on the training placements of two theater training professionals attending and giving training on theater professionals, in well-established European organisations. The first flow was the placement of one participant (Apostolos Apostolides), for 14 days, in Akt Zent, a well-established Theater organization, located in Berlin, Germany, dealing with the development of theatrical Training practices. During this placement the participant had the opportunity to both receive theoretical and practical training as well as to offer training to the professionals of the hosting organisation. The second flow was a placement of one participant (Liana Thrassou), for 22 days, in Walter Carrington Educational Trust Ltd, a leading organization dealing with Alexander Technique, located in London, UK. The main objective of this placement was for the trainer to gain an extra knowledge and improve her skills on how specifically the Alexander technique’s principles are better implemented in Theater training practices. The opportunity of skills and knowledge exchange during the flows was enormous due to the aspect of different international influences on theater training methods. The participants gained invaluable knowledge and experience in theater training methods which were impossible to get in Cyprus because of the lack of expertise. One of the most important objectives of this mobility project, for both our organisation and the participants was the opportunity we all had to get in touch with a highly rated international network in the field of our professional interest. This gave us the opportunity to develop important collaborations with International network of professionals, to exchange experiences and good practices, get more expanded to have a stronger and more sustainable impact during the development of our trainings and workshops in Cyprus.
