TRAINER'S LABORATORY: EXPERIENCE NON-FORMAL TRAINING TOOLS!

Trainer's Laboratory - Experience non-formal training tools! is a Training of Trainers focused on teaching the participants how to create their own non-formal education tools/methods and giving them the space to experiment within the group and receive feedback for the tools they will develop. The project is a multilateral Training Course conceived as a 4.3 Action included in the Youth in Action Programme, supported by European Commission. For 8 days, 22 participants (trainers, future trainers, youth workers - especially in the field of education) from Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania and Turkey will have the chance to gain knowledge about non-formal education and find new ways to use it in their future trainings. Trainer's Laboratory will take place between 6th and 14th of May, in Bra?ov, Romania, and will give participants the opportunity to take part in activities based on non-formal education - reflected through methods focused on: Open Space Technology, working in mixed groups, brainstorming, simulation, presentations, debates, role play, workshops and national evenings.By the end of this training, the participants will:- gain knowledge about non-formal education tools and methods (guidelines, role etc);- be able to create/customise the tools and methods they use in trainings according to their theme and to the participants in their group;- be aware of the importance of using non-formal education in training courses;- gain knowledge about the culture from different European countries through intercultural dialogue, sustained by activities based on non-formal education;- write a booklet that reflects the new training tools and methods that participants will create during the project.
