The participating cultural centres of the cross-border area cooperate to introduce children and youngsters to the world of contemporary performing arts. This also helps improve their artistic recognition in the cross-border area. Achievements: Through an extensive cross-border bustransport system, both organisations succeeded in convincing its season-ticket holders to having the cross-border reflex to attend performances across the border. In addition, various schools were supported by artists in a cross-border twinning project and young people from the border area performed in their own show, which was presented on several occasions in the border area.Finally, the project between both cultural centres has evolved into a sustainable partnership and a joint participation in other cross-border projects, such as the renowned Next festival.
