Tradition, Originality, uniqueness and Richness for an Innovative Strategy for Tourism development in Black Sea Region (TOURIST)

The project targets common problems identified in the area of cooperation, in the field of tourism development, and the three cross-border partners designed specific solutions for overcoming these issues: joint strategic framework for supporting, in an integrated manner (integrated conversation and exploitation of tourism resources), tourism development in Black Sea Basin, networking for creation and promotion of common tourism products based on area's potential trainings and exchanges of experience for improving the standards in tourism services and related activities (cross-border campaign for improving and harmonising tourism standards and services). Achievements: 25 participants from the partner countries discussed about the main tourist products and identified solutions. Good practices from Netherlands were shared. A strategy was created for the development of tourism at the Black Sea, it was translated to 200 copies were disseminated in each partner country. A joint campaign for promoting tourism packages in partner countries was run with brochures, a film, spots, 2 virtual info desks. A tourism adverstising festival took place with 45 participants discussing issues of marketing development in tourism, promoting the tourism sector. A "Best practice manual for tourism activity" was elaborated, translated and distributed in 300 copies and 4 informative meetings were held.
