This project is related to the use of information technology, communication and robotics and their integration into the educational function of our organization.The main objectives of the project are:• to familiarize teachers with the current trends in information technology, internet and robotics• to enhance the quality of the provided education using innovative tools, modern teaching methods and digital educational resources.• to improve student performance and reduce dropout by providing more educational resources and learning opportunities to disadvantaged groups and to students with social and cultural diversity.• to promote official recognition of the skills and competences acquired through professional development activities abroad• to strengthen openness, cooperation and european dimension of our organization, making it an active cell in society.Considering the needs of the organization, this project includes the following training courses for the teaching staff of our school within a mobility activity with two (2) flows.The first flow relates to a course about ICT for Education, in the Czech Republic, which will involve ten (10) teachers of various specialties. Our goal is that the dissemination of the results can reach out to as many classes, departments, sectors and specialties of the organization.The second flow relates to a course about "Robotics for Schools" in the UK, which will involve four (4) teachers (Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture). Teachers can use the acquired knowledge in the teaching of science, programming and agriculture, where there are many ways of using robotics.Some of the activities which will follow the flows are:• Creation of a digital repository with educational resources under the website of our school. Digital objects and training scenarios which will be created by the teachers, will be stored in this platform and will be open and accessible to all.• Presentation of the project and training for other educational staff in our school• Presentation of the project and training about robotics for other science teachers from other schools• Sample experimental teachings for our students, using ICT and robotics and educational resources from the digital repository• Evaluation of all these activities.With the implementation of this project, teachers will become familiar with the creative use of computers, portable devices and robotic systems as tools of learning, creating educational resources, they will come in contact with different strategies and cultures and develop a sense of European identity. They will improve their language skills, exchange experiences with teachers from other European countries and they will build business links and cooperation networks in the field of new technologies and educational robotics. In addition, the organization will acquire a more modern working environment, embedding high-level learning methods and innovative practices and supporting a new learning culture with modern and interesting content. The early school leaving will be reduced as students will have access to new learning opportunities, with possibilities of interaction, collaboration and communication, will gain more interest in learning, will improve their performance, will feel more satisfaction and self-confidence.The next goal is the active participation of our organization to new pan-European projects (eTwinning) and in Erasmus + KA2 partnerships about ICT and Educational Robotics.
