Bolu commnity mental health center ( CMHC) is the first sample about commnity based psychiatry in Turkey. Bolu CMHC has been reference to the other new openned CMHC's in Turkey since 2008. As Bolu CMHC is the first model in Turkey, it has many innovator implementations.But in order to make our services with higher quality and parallel to international standarts; it is important to make investigations in the places of world wide good samples... The objectives of our project are, taking training about the most important contents of commnity mental health model such as working of commnity mental health center, commnity based forensic services and alchol and drug addiction services, sheltered home services and also sheltered work services and then adapt our practices to this model. After the training taken from the mobility made countries, with the renovation or devoloping the training moduls a new period will be started about commnity based mental health services in Turkey. The participants of the project team will have a new, different and wider vision after the gained experience through the project and this project team will take active role in the process of new service models. And the participants of the project who had training will share their new experience and also knowladge transferance will be obtained. Except the participants of the project,the mentally disabled patients who are the other beneficiary of the project will be more productive and their participation to community life will be obtained. As in the health ministry's vision mentioned, main goal is the accessibility of people to the health services in a shortest and most easy way and also as mentioned in health ministry's mental health action plan on 2011, this accessibility for mentally disabled patients to mental health services can be obtained by community mental health centers. And according to mental health action plan, 236 community mental health centers must be openned until 2015, now we have alteady 70 openned CMHC around Turkey. So the investigations about good practices in the European mobility countries will support the development of the new CMHC's which will be openned in next future. The number of the participants thought to be about 40 and all these persons will be chosen among the mental health workers or people who are creative and dealing about developing themselves on community mental health model. According to the project objectives, the planned instutions or organizations in the European mobility countries will be visited, observations will be made, investigstions in the place of good samples will be made, our staff will make meetings with the staff of visited instutions about establishment and working of these places. By this new training and new knowladge gained,reports will be be prepared, so the support for the development of new models of community based mental health services first in Bolu then in all around Turkey will be obtained. And also by the new knowladge and experiences of the participants of the project , the training programme of our CMHC and the methods applied will be reorganized and adopted. After taking the training programme, presentations and materials for adult training in the instution will be prepared. All the studies made according to the reports of the new gained knowladge after the training will be presented on national and international Congress or conferences. Workshops for the CMHC's teams around Turkey will be organized by the health ministry. After taking the training programme, a new training modul will be developed and this modul will be shared with the other CMHCs around Turkey. According to the studies of CMHC and new gained knowladge brochures will be prepared and shared with other CMHC's around Turkey. Also the new knowladge and experiences gained by this project will be shared with local and national media. Communication with the other CMHCs around Turkey will be obtained and so by this communication the new knowladge will be shared and training will be given. The participants of the project will be the leaders for establishing sheltered homes, workplaces in Bolu for patients with mental disability and also adopting community based forensic and alchol- drug addiction services which are all not developed in Turkey yet and they will also give support for developing and becoming widespread of community based mental health services for mentally disabled people around Turkey.
