The project TOLERANCE PLUS brings in Busteni, Romania, between 25.02 - 09.03 / 2017, 48 young people from Bulgaria, Turkey, Slovakia, Spain, Romania and Greece to experience the values of tolerance and human rights by various creative methods: Public Café , Theatre of the Oppressed, Flashmob, production of short films and animation movies and other non-formal activities. During the 13 days of activities, participants will create, in intercultural teams, a minimum of 7 short films and 5 animated films that promote the tolerance and Human Rights.In a social context with accents of violence and radicalism among young people, the film and theater represents good instruments to promote the European values of tolerance, peace and Human Rights.The problem that the project addresses: Weak competences of young people with artistic aspirations about the promotion of the tolerance and human rights by film and thetaer. Scope:Development among young people of the values of tolerance and human rights and media, filmic, theatrical skills, to promote them at European level and beyond.Project objectives:O1. Knowing and deepening the values of tolerance, human rights, respect for self and others through creative methods, for 48 young people from 6 countries of the Programme, in 13 days, in Busteni, Romania.O2. To develop creative and media, audi visual, acting, writing scripts, making short films and animations skills, to promote the tolerance and human rights, of 48 young people for 13 days in Busteni, Romania.O3. To develop the active citizenship through the arts, film and theater, spirit of initiative and organizational skills, Intercultural ones 48 young people, in 13 days, in Busteni, Romania.O4. Developing English language skills, especially in film, theater, tolerance, human rights fields, for48 young people, in 13 days, in Busteni, Romania.O5. Developing the capacity, attractiveness and internationalization of 6 youth organizations from Romania, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Slovakia, Bulgaria, through international cooperation in the arts, tolerance and human rights fields, over 13 days, in Busteni, Romania.O6. Developing a portfolio of at least 7 short films and 5 animated films that promote the tolerance and human rights and that validate the artistic and civic skills of the participants Movies created and promoted internationally will help young people to become more tolerant, understanding the human rights and fundamental freedoms, to appreciate unity in diversity; respect the others rights to life, opinion, political asylum, work, freedom of expression and other rights stipulated in the European Charter of Human Rights.
