In the framework of the project, the development of the Transport Security InformationSystem was supported; in addition, workshops and trainings were conducted in orderto develop interregional relations. As a result of the project, transport can be mademore plannable and more secure by other than borderline counties as the system canalso be applied at a national level. The result of the project is an application accessiblethrough the Internet which shows the current traffic situation on a point-based map,thus facilitating more seamless and more secure passenger and cargo traffic alongthe route Hungary-Ukraine. This system can also be used by the population throughthe Internet: information can be gathered on frequent accident locations, roadblocks,detours and road closures.
