The funding serves to strengthen the feeling of belonging within the community. Thespecific program shows to young people participating in it that they can also spendtheir time doing worthwhile activities that are useful to the community. Amongother reasons, this is important because in this way they can be taught to becomeactive members of the community. One of the most important programs within theframework of the project was also linked to young people: a joint camping holiday wasorganised together with young people from Slovakia. The aim of this event was to getto know each others culture and to increase holiday opportunities of children, as inmany cases this was their only chance for a summer vacation, because their parents didnot have the means to take them.
