Model Experimental Junior High School of Patras envisions his future and the future of his students. We have to tackle the range of vocational rehabilitation of our students. We want to "equip" our students with the proper knowledge and skills so to became the sought after scientists and professionals of the next decade. We intend to create an educational environment of innovation and leadership and that is why we want our teachers to develop cutting-edge educational techniques. We are training the largest part of the plenary of teachers in our school, selecting highly qualified teachers with strong disposals for professional development. The educational action Astronomy@MyPC will introduce educators into modern educational tools about astronomy, while also it introduces them to educational inquiry learning scenarios. The actions of Outdoor Education will introduce educators to the techniques of teaching outside the classroom and to integrate public spaces in educational process. The educational activities "Using museums and heritage as a teaching and learning resource" and "Science and Art: So Different, So Similar!" will boost the cross-curricular activities and offer students a holistic view of education. Knowledge of foreign languages is reinforced, so that our students will acquire the skills for job search in an enlarged, global labor market. Former trainees are now becoming multipliers of innovative practices; students are recipients of new knowledge and skills. The knowledge transmission techniques are acquiring new prospective, while at the same time knowledge is disseminated widely in the educational community. Expect from a quantitative upgrade we are also strongly aiming to the qualitative upgrade of the supplied educational work in the school unit. We look forward to an increase in the number of innovative actions and practices in educational programs, experiential assignments, groups of excellence but also in daily teaching practice. The impact in the school unit will be the overall upgrade, creating educational material, extroversion and the specialization of staff. The long-term benefits of school unit have to do mainly with the vocational rehabilitation of our students. The school will feel proud if unit has given the students all the necessary guarantees for a successful professional career.
