Although this century has many opportunities for human beings in many ways, it is clear that there are also many disadvantages. Youth living in this century and taking these advantages are facing many problems which are also caused by this century itself. No doubt that the most prominent one is obesity and unhealthy eating habits. Nowadays at least one person especially a young one almost from each family or immediate surrounding has this obesity problem or eating disorders. So that primarily young people should focus on and do something for this subject which concern them directly. So we would like to work on healthy eating habits and the reasons of and solutions for obesity. We believe that young people work productively and obtain more efficient solutions when they have the chance to work together. The obesity problem is only recognized on 22th May and ignored in the following day. We want to raise awareness in society about how important the obesity problem is, what should be done to prevent it and that it must be taken into consideration everyday of the year. Project Participants: There will be 40 young participants at total in this project: 6 people from each partner country (Czech Republic, Lithuania, Spain, and Italy) and 10 people from the hosting partner Aksaray EU Youth Platform. The age range of these participants will be between 18 and 25. They will be the ones who know English at Intermediate level and are willing to work on obesity problem and eating disorders. And they will be asked to implement the gender equality while they are determining the participants for this Project. As an outcome of the Project a GUIDE which contains a ‘to do’ /a ‘not to do’ lists against obesity problem and also information about healthy eating habits. This guide will be shared with the all organizations or institutions concerned about the problem. MMethodology: Non-formal education methods will be widely used while implementing the project activities. So we will be able to perform the activities with participants-based ways. All the participants will be requested to participate actively in all activities. There will be leaders’ meeting everyday to provide collaborative work between the participants during both group and collective work activities. Participants will be free to comment and criticize in each step of the Project. All the health and security measures will be taken with the consultation of local authorities. Results: Before all else participating young people in this Project will be informed and cognizant about the obesity problem and unhealthy eating habits.
