The project "Nonviolence Week" has been carried with the participation of 7 members of the Nova Gradiska youth club that operates at the Association for the Prevention of sociopathological youth behavior „PREVENTION . The project aims to prevent violence in the community. Specific objectives are: sensibilisation of all citizens to recognize all types and forms of violence, the development of consciousness and moral norms for non-accepting violence, encouraging young people for independent initiatives, encouraging youth volunteering and active participation of young people in society and the promotion of equality of all citizens and respect for human and other rights. The main activities were carried out during the week, every day: lectures, workshops, demonstrations with the participation of members of the police and sports associations, exhibitions of works on the theme of non-violence, non-violence parade, drawing on the sidewalk of the kindergarten children, the urban music concert and others. Marking the "Week of Nonviolence" concluded with the concert for the citizens and young people who complete secondary education (high school graduates) representing a symbolic "goodbye" to the educational impact of their most intense training years. Organization of activities were conducted by seven members of the Nova Gradiska youth club. Methods that are used are demonstrations, lectures, drawings, presentations, role-playing, performance, etc. The work was carried out in the form of group work, and most of the ac: interviews, tivities were open to the public, i.e., all citizens of the local community. Support for this project amounted to € 3,370.00.
