Time to work on advisors and coaches on VET

Objectives: CWC had developed two innovative methodologies and tools, for teaching and Learning Advisor (TLA) and Learning Coach (LC). Whilst the TLAs have the pedagogical approaches and the LCs bring the subject specific knowledge. The TLA and LC products are focused on each trainer’s performance and their return on investment to each VET organizations, VET promoters had been able to use a very efficient and low cost ways of improving performance: (a) to create ECVET advisors profile with the aim of coordinate, at governance level, all thematic knowledge areas, in terms of learning outcomes, evaluation, pedagogical rates, etc; (b) to ECVET peer learning process at VET promoters to assess and improve each trainers performance with the support of it’s coach (a peer trainer as well) in low cost process. Partnership: The TWO o’clock project consortium included CWC plus 6 VET partners – PT, TR, EL, AT and BG - , all of whom had worked on European projects. In none of those countries did these methodologies exist and each partner had specific expertise in key project areas, access to VET trainers, teachers, managers and staff and contacts with national and European VET networks, all of whom had expressed an interest in the following and helped to disseminate the project.Impact: the consortium has promoted the two training courses in each of its partner country's to at least 100 VET trainers, teachers, managers and staff and will continue to at least 500 VET organizations
