The project called „time4pm – time for personality mobility“ has ambitions to prepare young people for the future and to support complex development of their personality – personal mobility, to lead them to the responsibility and to looking for answers for questions as for example: Who I am? Where I find myself? What is expected of me? What are my possibilities? What can I do for myself and community and society in which I live? The project wants also to give a hand to young disadvantaged people so as they can „escape“ from problems in the way that they can see them, give them a name and they can face them and solve them and also in the way that we can offer a space for them and activities for self-fulfilment, personal development and change of values. For reaching aims of project we want to use EDS and Youth Exchange with the name „You Are Here!“ that should support the topic and fulfilment of the project aims in the way of involvement of young people at the age of 15-30 years, that during 7 days can deeper dive into problematics and raised questions. We believe that with the help of their leaders and mentors, but also through interactive seminars, workshops and other supportive activities they can make the most fundamental changes in their attitudes that influence their life and environment in positive way. Youth exchange will be held from 15. – 21.7.2015 in Námestovo, Slovakia. It is planned for 36 young people at the age of 15-30 years and 4 leaders from the Czech and Slovak republics. EDS is planned for 8 volunteers from Ukraine, Poland, Spain, The Czech republic and Estonia and will be realized in the community centre Reflect in Žilina, that offers yet approved forms of work as for example youth and children´s club, leisure time activities for youth, language conversations and others..., but also new activities and forms of work as it is for example involvement of volunteers into realization of preventive lectures and assistance during foreign language lectures in specialized schools with the aim to catch up better youth in danger. We expect that the project will have positive impact to whole personal participants´ mobility, it will bring the change of their attitudes to themselves, but also to their environment, it will mobilize young people for the help to the others and it will create more opportunities for disadvantaged groups to involve into the community life and to know other cultures. We also expect, that the project will support yet opened up interbranch cooperation in the way of connection of informal and formal education in the cooperation with schools. After the finishing the project we want to continue with activities and also to take care of volunteers as we believe that community work that we are addicted to must be systematic and long-lasting.
