PROJET
TERMINÉ
The international project - “Time for Change!” was ERASMUS+ project aiming at improving peace-building attitudes and skills through the self-development process. Initially The projects contained two stages of the Training Courses, but as far as only one stage was granted the applier and partner organizations decided to keep the general title, implement fists stage and apply for the next one in the upcoming deadline. So, the training course "Time for Change" was implemented 4-11 July, 2015.
Personal development is a lifelong process. It’s a way for people to assess their skills and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realize and maximize their potential. Early life development and early formative experiences within the family, at school, etc. can help to shape us as adults, but the contribution of non formal learning in this process is crucial and this particular project was the greatest prove of it. This project was designed to help young people to think about their personal development and ways in which they can work towards goals and their full potential. The role of trainers as a mentors and coaches in this process was very important as they manage to lead this process successful and let participants achieve the goals they had towards this project.
Main aims and objectives of the project were:
• To stimulate the self-development process of young participants;
• To assist them to “get out of the box”, enlarge their “comfort zone”, maximize their creativity and see themselves and everything around as a possibility;
• To give the tools of empathic communication and conflict transformation for their daily life and work;
• To get intercultural experience by meeting with the representatives of different countries, cultures, backgrounds, religions, practice tolerance and break stereotypes & prejudices;
• To build meaningful relations and future cooperation on the basis of this project under Erasmus+.
The project was implemented in Bakuriani and and brought together 29 young people from (including trainers and support stuff): Italy, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Turkey, United Kingdom, Croatia and Armenia.
