Project title: ICT ? YES ! Discovering modern teaching methods.Duration: 2 years.According to the objectives and priorities in education which are indicated by European Union, the most important point in our project is developing the key competences. The main aims will be improvement ICT competences and communication in foreign languages both by students and school educational staff. The most important themes, which are included in the project are:1. ICT competences.2. Teaching and learning foreign languages.3. Promotion of intercultural awareness and the lifelong learning.The main aims of the project:- the improvement ICT competences and skills among teachers of different subjects at our school,- the elevation of effects of educating by the application ICT tools in the process of teaching,- the improvement of teaching competences by using the best work experience from other countries,- expanding our teachers' knowledge about the educational systems in other countries in UE,- the development of interpersonal competences among participants of the project,- propagating the attitude of the tolerance and the respect towards other cultures among both the students and teachers and breaking stereotypes,- acquiring competences in the scope of work with pupils with special educational needs,- giving our school the European dimension by making the international cooperation with partner schools throughout the union projects (KA2),- improving the language abilities by school educational staff with particular reference to ICT vocabulary,- the modernization the way of managing our school,In this project will participate a headmaster of Zespol Szkol and nine teachers who work in all parts of our school: nursery school, primary school and gymnasium. They teach different school subjects such as English, German, Maths, Science, History, Geography, IT, Integrated teaching and oligofrenopedagog. There are seventeen mobilities for the participants of this project. The teachers will take part in the following courses:- ICT for teaching – practical courses which incorporate Information Technology for teachers, who teach different school subjects;- study visits, where teachers will have opportunities to observe how work European educational institutions and they will exchange best work experiences from other countries;- methodical courses for teachers of English and German where participants will enjoy a collaborative task - based learning approach as an effective strategy to teach foreign languages.There are predicted some permanent results of the project:- to get international certificates - Europass;- to rise and get new professional competences in the range of didactic and methodology with particular reference to using ICT tools in the process of teaching and learning,- the implementation new solutions in range of ITC in didactic process and educational work,- the acquisition of knowledge about the educational systems in other countries,- to improve the language competences among teachers,- to widen the educational offer of our school,- to gain the knowledge about preparing and working another schools and teachers in different countries in Europe, - raising the competences during exchanging our experience,- to show the intercultural competences: acceptance and tolerance,- the change the posture in accordance with cultural dissimilarity, breaking the stereotypes,- to make the cooperation with teachers from other European countries and work together in KA2 projects.As long-range benefits of this project are forecasted:- raising the quality and effectiveness of the education at our school; - creating better image of our school among educational staff and local community,- building in the local environment the image of the modern school that promotes the ideas of the European integration,- the promotion of our town, region and country in Europe.
