Date du début: 1 févr. 2012,

Project title:The use or potential use of qualifications frameworks as a toot of mobility by HEIs and other stakeholders - "QFs-UHSE"Background:This project follows "The use of the EQF in the recognition procedures of the NARIC centres" project which highlighted the importance of EQFreferencing in credential evaluation. Today only 4 countries have officially submitted their referencing to the EQF. Taking this into account, it may beinteresting to shift the focus to the use or potential use of QFs by other stakeholders linked to mobility, such as HEIs and employers.Nowadays, recognition practices of such stakeholders are not always well known. A comparative study on the use or potential use of QFs by HEIsand other stakeholders linked to mobility would allow us not only to better understand their practices but also to share good practices of the ENIC-NARIC centres.Activities:Surveys, interviews and study visits on the use or potential use of frameworks by HEIs, employers and other related stakeholders such asrecruiters, job centres and other institutions dealing with employability and lifelong learning.A comparative analysis using these results in order to identify future training content for these other stakeholders.Recommendations for future activities to enhance the use or potential use of the different frameworks, for future activities to enhance theemployer's awareness of QFs and also on how to improve the recognition documents delivered by the network centres.Target group:ENIC-NARIC centres, HEIs, employers, recruiters, other stakeholders dealing with mobility.Impact:The project team will ensure close co-operation with other relevant projects. This study may result in the development of training sessions for HEIs and employers on good recognition practices. The final report will be widely disseminated across the network and all relevant stakeholders to promote the use of qualification frameworks as well as other mobility tools.
