The scientific environment integration of the Polish-Ukrainian borderland area (IPBU.03.01.00-18-629/11)
Date du début: 31 mars 2013, Date de fin: 30 mars 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The overall aim of the project is widening and strengthening the existing contacts, developing a sustainable model of cross-border co-operation between Polish and Ukrainian universitiesToday, Polish and Ukrainian universities face difficulties in conducting joint research work due to insufficient scientific contacts and limited financing. Students minimally participate in exchange programs. Financial constraints hamper scientific contacts and dissemination of research results. Another problem is that testing methods used in Ukraine differ from the existing EU standards.Implementation of the project will allow researchers to strengthen existing contacts and establish new ones. Exchange of students, their participation in workshops, conferences, seminars and research will contribute to establishing direct contacts, which will contribute to the development of future cross-border scientific exchange, and will continue after the project completion. Mutual exchange of researchers and students will strengthen cross-border cooperation and significantly contribute to regional cooperation. This will create long-lasting relationships between scientific institutions. Moreover bounds would strengthen between academic staff and the regional society. Joint publications will allow working on objective research results and sharing them with people of both regions. The use of innovative methods of communication will help to intensify contacts, cooperation and presentation of scientific research. Conducting joint research will help to acquaint the Ukrainian partner with EU standards in the areas of research and ecology. Purchase of audio-visual and computer equipment will contribute to the development of information society in the cross-border area.
