The needs for this application were identified , by our Erasmus plus Team, thanks to an accurate analysis of the school syllabus. The results allowed us to select the following priorities: Improving the foreign language teaching through innovative, international and intercultural methodologies; reinforcing the mastering of CLIL in teaching; renewing and modernizing the ICT application in daily school activities; studying other European school systems in terms of leadership, management and teaching approches. All that in order to provide our school community with further opportunities to improve its National and International awareness skills and competences in a Long Life Learnig perspective. The staff who applied for the mobility is formed by people higly motivated in their job and who have always worked hard to increase their professional skills and methdologies. They have attended courses, seminars and workshops, joined national and international partenships, stages and projects, studied to get language and ICT certifications. Their life and professional objective is to make the school mission more and more involved into the cultural and intercultural awareness of its European Dimension. The activities we planned to organise in partnership with "English Matters" were meant to offer an English language full immersion experience in the Irish, English and Spanish culture, life ,school system and management organization . The methodologies used to carry out the activities were learning by doing, brain storming, peer education and Inquiry-Based Learning. More in details in relation to: "New innovative curricula/educational methods/development of training coursese" We planned the following :1) - English and Culture: A course for teachers of English as a foreign language 27th July -5th August 2015-Trinity College - Dublin 2) -CLIL in Dublin: Content and language integrated learning - 27th July -5th August 2015-Trinity College - Dublin 3)-ICT - new technologies - digital competences ITC for Teaching: A Practical course to incorporate Information Technology into Teaching 22nd November -29th November University of Jaen. 4)- Quality Improvement Institutions and/or methods (incl. school development) Strucrured study visit to School/ Institutes &Training Seminars for Teachers and other school staff 19th-23rd Ottobre 2015 University of Malaga The impact we have got is the improvement in working , motivation, skills and competences ; the possibility to share the experience with the whole school Community, the local istitutions and organizations. Furthermore,the last but not the least, to get ideas and material to plan lessons and activities in the class to improve our students motivation, abilities and their European awareness. We have been given long term benefits in the possibility to keep in touch with the European partners , the chance to increase further mobilities ,the opportunity to use all the material produced ,videos, leafleats, teaching plans, cultural and intercultural miniguides etc. as examples of good practices for our school , our area and the European partners. The evaluation of the mobility has been carried out through a series of steps: preparation, implementation and interpretation using questionnaires, surveys and reports which have enabled an everlasting monitoring of the mobility and an accurate analysis of its short, mid and long term efficiency. The outcomes of the mobility as an international experience have been and will be short and long terms depending on the quality and value of its impact and dissemination on our school, the local, regional, national and international community.
