“The power of non–formal education - take the EVS challenge”

The project “The power of non–formal education - take the EVS challenge”+” is dedicated to 30 young people aged between 18 and 30 and coming from different region of Polsnd. The project aims to offer them a wide spectrum of activities in which they will have the opportunity to measure their strength and weakness. We hope they will realize the idea of European Voluntary Service and that the personal success will be the main reason of spreading information about similar projects in the frame of “Erasmus+'' Programme. Through voluntary work and participation in activities for local community the volunteers will function in creative and secure space in which they will have many occasions to work within the rules and ethic of European Voluntary Service.In the project we have planned 2 and 6 months activities in various parts of Europe – Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Romania, Spain, Greece.The partners initiative proposes short-term as well as long-term individual projects and goes out to meet thorny issues on which the youngsters have to cope, such as: unemployment, social exclusion and marginalization, unequal opportunities of access to the education, family problems and living in the less developed areas.The objectives of the project we divided into two groups:1) The general objectives of the project:- supporting the international mobility of young people;- supporting young people in acquiring skills in order to expand their capacity for self-development and increase the chance of employment in the European labor market and abroad;- supporting young people from less privileged backgrounds, with fewer opportunities;- increasing the capacity of organizations active in the field of youth work in order to offer activities which better meet the needs of young people in Europe and beyond;- the promotion of non-formal learning and cooperation in the field of youth with the partner countries.2) The specific objectives of the project:- involving 30 young people aged 18-30 years in the free and conducted a full voluntary activities in different countries of the European Union;- to provide the best conditions for the development and / or growth of entrepreneurship in the EVS volunteers, which are the target group in the project;- ensuring a strong volunteer activities affecting their self-development and to improve their position in the labor market by raising the level of key competencies and skills;- using of the experience of the project to improve the quality of youth work among partner organizations.Through this project the partners intend to accomplish two goals: activation of youth who need additional stimulation to change their life situation and to initiate or continue of the positive changes in the nearest environment of the local community to whom the volunteers dedicate their time and energy. To give equal opportunities to those who are less skilled or those who come from less developed regions or communities. We are focused on young individuals; during our project we would like to give equal chances to everyone who will show enthusiasm and willingness to learn something new.
