The partners want to turn the cross-border area with its many river routes and circuits into an autonomous tourist destination in the short term.They foster, encourage and promote new tourist products on and along the water to create points of attraction in the cross-border area. The partners study how to best commercially develop the tourist potential ofthe area. They encourage boaters to move from port to port within the network, houseboat and passenger vessel rental companies to settle on the territory, visitors to buy or rent a boat, to go for a trip on and alongthe water, to hike on the riverbank, to explore the green cycle routes, the RAVel network, etc.Partnerships are established and formalised to ensure the orderly management of river tourism projects and investments are made in secure piers for professionals. Achievements: - Water tourism promotion and improvement through the organisation of promotion actions for the general public, such as the RuéeverslEau, and the establishment of quality audits and training sessions for sector professionals. - Creation of a Passe Ports (Port pass)in the form of a French-Belgian water tourism map with all the yachting facilities and the service offer along the waterways in the cross-border area.- Promotion of water tourism products through the project website.- Development and dissemination of tour files on and along the water with suggestions for trips on and along the water.- Promotion of tourist products through the dissemination of communication objects and the participation in sector events.- Sector activity evaluation through surveys and tourism assessment.
