Children are most vulnerable, because they have less of potential to control the environment they are in. We have noticed that children in kindergarten (or schools) very often are more edgy, have a difficulty to concentrate, complain of a headache, and speak in a raised voice. Therefore we are interested in the noise and the harm of the noise.This project has gathered together teachers, school staff, local institutions, parents and pupils of four different European school institutions (Italy, Lithuania, Latvia and Turkey) into a partnership. The project's main aim was to acknowledge the principle that living in a silent environment can help the prevention and cure of the damages caused by noise. Starting from the cultural background of each country, new strategies have been shared to promote an healthier style of life and to introduce parents and children to live in a healthier environment free from noise.This project has fulfilled its aims. Working in team and international mobilities have allowed a group of highly motivated people to share the principles of hospitality and of common cultural values that are the basis of our European identity. All the partners have reached the end of this project fully aware to have fulfilled its aims, however we also shared a feeling of sadness for the end of a fruitful partnership and a sincere friendship.
