THE NEW EDUCATIONS IN PROMOTING TRANSVERSAL SKILLS

The project proposes a new approach in the development of transversal competences,by implementation the concept of “New Educations” concept through the acquisition of knowledge and skills relating to some of one of the New Educations: Education for the environment, peace, health, democracy, communication and mass-media, entrepreneurship, civic,leisure, personal development.The concept of New Educations has been launched by the Romanian teacher George Vaideanu in 1988 and they constitute proof of the involvement of the education systems in the popularization of problems of the contemporary world, hoping to find peaceful and viable solutions.Familiarising students with the issue of New Educations means that the students will get to know the needs and the fears of a rapidly and in changing society and competencies that these New education develop it will lead to the development of transversal comptences.Current economic and social dynamics requires the formation of young people with competencies who have the power to allow them to adapt to socio-economic changes and would ensure for them easy integration on the European labor market. In order to face the challenges and to anticipate possible problems, students should obtain a set of essential skills making them capable to integrate rapidly on the labor market-“transversal skills" and of them include: civic competences, digital competences, initiative and entrepreneurship.The target groups of our project are made up of all the students and teachers from partner schools, human resource of the other institutions, trainers and members, respectively 2000 students, 300 teachers and trainers. Based on the needs of institutional and target groups have been established PROJECT OBJECTIVES:1. Improve the educational act by developing the skills to 2,000 students transversal competences2. Increasing the quality of education by developing personal and professional skills to 300 teachers3. Creating an international network of collaboration that will include schools and institutions working in the education and training of teaching staff for permanent exchange of best practices.
