PROJET
TERMINÉ
In this current and unstable Europe we live in April 2016, we want to make a statement and a concrete step towards friendlier and truly intercultural Europe, in a way that's possible for our organizations right now: we want to improve the connections between Nordic countries and Western Balkan countries, which live quite far away from each others geographically, culturally and politically. By strengthening our organizations friendships, we can also improve the constructive and long-term communication between our areas. We want to disseminate the actions and results effectively during and after the project to our communities, and in this way to spread our message of a friendly, listening and co-operative Europe. We are working mostly with the young people who have met last Summer, so the young people have a possibility to deepen already established friendships and the organizations can strengthen their co-operation. The theme of the project is "Manual for European Teenager". The aim is to provide a concrete manual (a personal booklet or a virtual collection of text, photos, feelings, comments, reflections, videos etc.) to every participant during the project, which includes teenagers' tips on how to behave and act like to live happy and healthy life in Europe. Because our cultures are different, the young people can learn new mentalities and approaches from each other, and provide with new tools and wisdom. The methods to achieve this are non-formal theatrical methods, youth-led workshops, presenting and sharing cultures and languages through everyday life examples. The workshops are done in a peer-to-peer methodology, which offers the young people the opportunity to become youth leaders and groups leaders in the future, but it also strengthens their chances to become EuroPeers in the future. We have three types of activities: performative arts, leisure & culture, and lightly-programmed evening activities; these all relate to the chosen theme and Erasmus+ objectives. The project makes a strong impact on local and regional levels, especially in schools and arts organizations that work with youth from 13 to 18 years. The participants are especially committed to spread the message of enriching intercultural relationships and good practices for the future generations who can continue maintaining the organizational friendship and connection gained through this project.
