With this project the partners aim to increase the effectiveness of joint rescue operations through strengthening the human resources and enhancement equipment. As the current effectiveness of the rescue services of the Polish and Lithuanian partners is insufficient, the implementation of the activities allows reaching the objectives. The analysis of problems highlighted the lack of equipment and insufficient share of knowledge between the units. Expected Results: Therefore the partners foresee to purchase special equipment for fire operations and to organise special trainings which include theoretical part as well as practical exercises. The project will be implemented in the territory of Poland, Podlaskie voivodeship, as well as in Lithuania, Marijampolė and Alytus districts.
