The purpose of the project is to strenghten the cooperation between the arts and social sciences, the cultural institutions and the business environment in the Oresund Region by creating the platform Humaniora Oresund. Humaniora Oresund will among other things put more focus on arts and social sciences as an important competence and an important asset in the increasing competition among regions. This is done by: 1. Developing the cooperation to culture related private and public businesses, including developing the cooperation with the Oresund Science Region. 2. Making the Oresund Region known as one of northern Europes most important centres for culture and arts and social sciences. 3. Encouraging a much closer cross-border cooperation between the four faculties of Arts (University of Copenhagen, University of Lund, University of Malm and Roskilde University) 4. Encouraging a closer cooperation between Humaniora Oresund, Oresund Science Region and the other industrial platforms.
