PROBLEM: Low economical competitiveness of the cross-border region is related to the absence of cooperation and information tools that would fit the specific situation of the region. The entrepreneurs lack basic legal and economic knowledge what regards cross-border business, there is a disbalance of labour force and vacant job positions in various sectors. OBJECTIVES: The overall objective is to contribute to long term cross-border cooperation and joint innovative entrepreneurship, equilibration of regional general conditions of business development, promotion of cross-border competency exchange, and the growth in the movement of goods and services. Achievements: 3 cross-border business support and information centres were established and equipped for promotion of innovative entrepreneurship in Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus. E-cooperation platform was launched for the needs of the entrepreneurs of 3 countries.Cross-border small and medium enterprises shared their experience in using innovative technologies.5 international business forums and matchmaking events were held. 800 businessmen took part in seminars and trainings.
