This project named "The door of the steadfast spirit" is a bilateral youth exchange involving two groups of youngsters (18-30 years old) from Bulgaria (host country) and Italy (sending country) Both groups are representatives of sports clubs respectively Sports Club "Lucoil IKKEN" from Sofia and "Aikya ASD "- the city of Palermo, which mainly develop their activities in the Eastern martial arts, especially Shotokan Karate. This is the common focal point around which we will build a set of implementation activities, and of course try to go beyond pure sporting activity and focus our efforts in finding the relationship between sports activities on one hand and the priorities of the Youth in Action Programme on the other - namely - to promote active participation of young people, their European identity and healthy way of living. Activities are planned to be completed within 11 days (10 full working days) in early August 2011 and will be typical for the non-formal education, the working methods include - sports activities, discussions, presentations and presentation of examples, multimedia products, facilitated activities and work in groups, intercultural communication (national evenings and excursions). Each of the youths at the end of the project will receive a certificate Youthpass, in which elaboration he or she will take an active part.
