The project entitled "Internship training in economics area within Europe" which was designed by ”Nicolae Titulescu” Economic College aims to facilitate the access of 30 students, at the stage of their initial professional training within the economics area ( with a major in providing services) at a two weeks internship. Among the 30 students, 30 are students in tenth grade, specialization: technician in economic activities according to the request for continuing the studies for a level 3 qualification. The internship will span over a three week period between April and may 2015 and will be held in different companies activating in the economic field.The goal of this project is to facilitate students’ access to a high quality professional training in a real-work environment within European companies in order to acquire key professional skills and gain experience according to the Curriculum and the needs developed within the European economic area.The internship in the partners’ country at stakeholders will facilitate the transition from school to the real-working environment carried out through the activities performed in specific European companies at high quality standards.The lack of room in our schools, the problems encountered in establishing solid partnerships with companies in Baia Mare made us to initiate this project. Many local companies do not provide high quality standards, do not realize the importance of internship for students, do not even allow a large number of students to step through their doors. Along with this project we hope to offer students – future technicians in economic, administration and trade activities - for the first time, the opportunity to develop and improve their professional skills on an ever changing labor market.The main objectives of this project are connected with the acquisition of real-work experience in the economic area in order to facilitate the transition from school to a real-working environment, the development of professional skills which are of great importance for employers, the enhancing of European policies related to initial professional training and transnational mobility, the improvement of cooperation between companies and educational system, the promotion of competences transfer, in order to have, in the end, high qualified labor.The project also facilitates the improvement of communication skills in a foreign language in a multicultural environment, the development of a positive attitude towards teamwork, flexibility and autonomy in the decision making process.The project relies on quality and permanence of training in real life situations. All these will be reached through specific activities connected with the objectives of the project and the competences required by the Professional Training Standards/National Curriculum.
