TGBBZ1 Saarbrücken - Schule 2.0 in Europa
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

At our school, we could assert a growing demand for internationalization and the use of modern media in the classroom. In order to satisfy this demand – which has been confirmed both by our international partners and by student polls - we intend to improve our web presence and to use more digital media in our lessons. Our web presence is to become multilingual and we want to enhance the use of web 2.0 tools in the classroom. Therefore, 3 or 4 colleagues who are already working in these areas are supposed to attend specified training courses which will provide them with the qualifications required to realize these projects. Afterwards, they will be able to pass on their knowledge to their colleagues. The multilingual web presence will be a big step forward to put our school in an international context as it facilitates a quick and easy access to information about our school for both our international partners and students and their parents who might only have little knowledge of the German language. The intensified use of digital media and web 2.0 tools will lead to a better quality of the courses offered by our institution. It will also help to bring more up-to-date and authentic material into the classroom. This will make the education that we offer more interesting and appealing to our students, and therefore, it can contribute to better results and learning progress. Both aims are focused on the improvement of the education offered by our school, on getting a competitive advantage to other institutions and on preparing our students for the job market by providing them with a modern, high quality education with an international dimension.
