Date du début: 31 oct. 2009, Date de fin: 30 oct. 2010 PROJET  TERMINÉ

In the frame of the project we will find the most suitable places for the field practices and educational trails and make them suitable for the use. We organize common Hungarian-Slovakian experimental courses at seven levels: students of secondary schools, BSc, MSc and PhD students, teachers of geography and environmental sciences, members of civil organizations and enterprises, and inquiring tourists. We prepare printed materials (course booklets, guides) for each level of courses in Hungarian, Slovakian and English in the following themes: Natura 2000, use of maps, orientation, GPS use, field geology and geophysics, environmental assessment of water and soil, monitoring, interpretation of geophysical data, geochemical sampling end evaluation, documentation and information-technological handling of drillcores. The programs are fitted into the curricula of the two partner universities. This will promote the better co-operation of the two institutes. The Local Authority of Telkibánya promotes the realization of the programs by providing the infrastructural background. The project also aims to develop the environment-oriented thinking and the knowledge of the Slovakian and Hungarian citizens and enterprises about the non-living part of nature. We also plan to illustrate the environmental impacts of mining and the possibilities and methods to decrease or avoid them. These programs can contribute to the better understanding of nature and help to avoid damaging it by industrial activity in both countries. Achievements: In the frame of the project the partners found the most suitable places for field practices and educational trails for the non-living part of nature and made them suitable for use.
