Telemedicin in the Region of Macaronesia
(MEREMA)
The objective of MEREMA is to create a telemedicin network that makes possible the allowance of health services between the hospital services of third level in the ultraperipheral regions fom the Region of the Macaronesia, having in mind the improvement of the efficiency in the quality of the cares allowed to the resident population, covering therefore the rural areas that are excluded in the present from the technical resources of health. It also forsees to improve the quality and eficiency of the health cares to the touristic population that visits those three archipelagos.
