Textile polymer membranes create completely new trend in construction and architecture. Due to high elasticity, low weight, exclusive tensile and tear strength their scope of application is practically unlimited. Textile constructions are widespread in tourist and commercial complexes, sports facilities (pools, stadiums, playgrounds), public buildings and spaces in front of them, exhibition hall, parking yards, restaurants, cafes, petrol stations, open stages and theatres, airports, railway stations etc. They allow coverage of big areas, design of premises with natural light. The technology is used for generation of new construction shapes and creation of temporary and mobile buildings assuring low consumption of resources. The project will offer theoretical and practical training in the field of textile membrane architecture organized by the partner Most Consult. Participants will be students from 11 grade of Vocational High-school of Architecture,Construction and Geodesy “Arch. Kamen Petkov” – Plovdiv, specialty “Construction and Architecture”.
