Using technology in education is vital for our school. Significant investment was made to use technology in our school. However, using technology effectively and integrating technology into education is not enough alone to be successful. Resources should also be used and managed consciously. The in-service trainings prepared by the Ministry of Education are not adequate. Although all the classes have the same standard in terms of technological equipment, as all of our teachers don’t have the same ICT skills, our students cannot benefit from the technology equally.By developing our teachers ‘competence in ICT, we aim;• to enable them to be technology involved persons,• to take benefit from technological devices during lessons,• to guide their students using the technological devices,• to access to information and use them ,• to organize the learning environment,• to share their experiences and professional developments with their colleagues by using internet and thus,By using the information technology devices effectively, the students will be able to solve problems, access to the information and use it properly, use these skills effectively in daily life. 18 personnel, who would play an effective role for our project to reach its aims and attend the three main activities were selected objectively. While creating our participants profiles, we took into consideration the points such as whether:- They have high marks from ICT attitude scale.- They have the basic ICT skills and they are eager to develop themselves in this field.- They have participated in-service trainings of the Ministry of Education and whether they have a certificate.- They have the basic level of the English Language.- They have had effective roles in any projects of the institution and whether they have completed them successfully.- They have the qualities such as being helpful, constructive in interpersonal communication skills and being open to share the information.In chronological order, our first activity is the course called ‘Using e- learning in the classroom’ which is going to be given in Prague. Our second course is ‘" Empowerment in ICT Skills - Making Use of Technology Tools" in Malta. Our third course is going to be given in Madrid and its name is ‘Creativity in Teaching and Learning using ICT: Digital classroom’.After the participants attend the activities, they will share their knowledge and experiences with their colleagues both visually and in a practical way. They will use ICT skills in their classrooms and also share their experiences with parents of students and the other schools’ personnel.When the project finish, the teachers will get a significant improvement in both professional and personal development. They will reach the international standards that are determined in teacher competences. Our students will access information easily and use the information accurately by the help of technology used in classroom, and thus their academic level will increase.With this project, our institution will integrate the ICT into the education process, will grow its institutional capacity and will have an important step in order to become a European. In the long term, it will contribute to the Digital Society fact, which is one of the attempts that were started in order to reach the Smart Growth goals.
