Yenikent İlksan Anatolian High School within the framework of its objectives which are determined in its 2015-2019 strategic plan aims to bring up teachers as people who are compatible with information society and the facilities of technological innovation that Fatih project brings to schools,; who have high level of readiness, the technological base of learning by game, the language proficiency to be able to contact with colleagues in European Union countries on this subject. Therefore Yenikent İlksan Anatolian High School wants to get involved and gain experience on European Union projects. By means of a survey conducted within the institution staff's needs of training on technology use and practical use of language was also understood. Our project called "We are Designing the Future Through Technology" aims to achieve goals which are determined by our school's strategic plan by the training staff's gaining experience with various software and online tools, having improvements on information & communication skills, being able to use interesting tool, software and programs and the wireless networks in order to start in-class activities, and providing to integrate technology with their educational environment. Also our project is planned for the staff majority of whom has never been to abroad and has not attended any internationally standardized educational programmes , to have sufficient experience in EU projects and to develop their foreign language skills.It is planned to bring awareness of European Union Citizenship for our school’s staff, to introduce our school in national and international areas, to develop our school’s weaknesses and to place our institution’s future upon the solid foundation by the project. Twelve instructors who are experienced in their own subjects and capable of being adapted to team-work will attend the course in Malta within the scope of our project. Before and after the mobility the project's impact will be evaluated for our participants by surveys which will compare the increase in personal and professional development of our teachers, the use of science and technology, the diversity and intercultural learning consciousness, the development of communication skills in foreign languages . Our participants will disseminate the experience and information they have acquired by the training with their colleagues who work in our region directly and via a web page specially designed for the project. "We are Designing the Future Through Technology" is the future investment of Yenikent Ilksan Anatolian High School.
