The needs of society are changing as the science and technology develops rapidly. Currently the students are able to reach the information and use all technological devices in a much better level than adults. This circumstance forces us become more qualified, equiped and renewed teachers for the developing technology. The socio-economic status of students help them to reach such items (Pcs,mobiles,tablets) easily. The establishment of Fatih Project in 2015-2016 educational year with smart boards in clasrooms encouraged our teachers for this project. Our school with its current technology has a teacher profile most of whom over ten years experienced ones who prefer traditional teaching techniques and unwilling to renew herself/himself to attend any educational training seminars and who consider the current technology in a prejudiced way. Attending a training course in a more quantified educational instituation and observing the practices in Europe by experiencing different cultures will provide a fresh point of view for teachers and help them to remember their past idealistic opinions.Our aims in “Tekno Teacher” project are to use information and communication technologies effectively to increase the quality of education and also to have our teachers and students acquired the approachto be innovative, social, creative. Considering various needs of students, we are aiming not only provide an effective training facilities for students who have different features and skills, but also to develop a student centered approach, which results in the enhancement of attention and reduce in the early school leaving.Forming the group is considered attentively by inviting at least one teacher from every branch to enlarge the spheres of influence in the content of the project. 16 teachers and 2 staff from administration are involved in every phase of this project voluntarily.“Information and Communication Technologies in Education” course that is held in Prague has been selected as the most congruent course because of the results of a questionnaire held among the teachers to evaluate their capabilities and attitudes toward Information and Communication Technologies. It is believed that this training course will provide the needs of teachers by presenting the different approaches, web technologies, safe internet usage of other Eurpean countries.It has been contacted with the course supervisors. The teachers have already started an English training course to improve their foreign language skills for a better understending.The knowledge and the skills, the teachers ill gain at the end of this project,will enable an effective usage of ICT which enhancing the students’ learning capacity with the approach that motivate them to be open-minded and eager to learn new things. Moreover; sharing the ideas with the teacher from different cultures will enable us to approach the situations and events from a different point of view. Teachers using ICT devices effectively as a good model will help students tı use ICT as a tool to acquire the cooperative learning. Abiity of problem solving and making decision, also being creative. Also, they can create original projects themselves.Some problems result in the unconcious usage of internet, such as cyber bullying, cyber crimes, fakerywill be hindered by raising awareness of students and parents about the safe internet usage. This process will help to create a more qualified and healthiersocial culture. The questionaries and tests which will be applied to teachers before the starting of the project and will be applied at the end of the course again in order to evaulate the effectiveness of the project, so it will be observed if there are any differences between the starting point and the end.The enlightenment seminars will be held in our school and in all city in order to enhance the effectiveness of the project and to generalize the use of the project. Every participants will share her/his experience and sample practices, gained during the course, with their colleagues first of all in our school then in our city. Via the competition named “The best practice samples about ICT usage among the schools”with the cooperation of Administry of Education in Nazilli, teachers will be encouraged to develop the projects in this scope.Visual aids, samples, videos, presentations, posters will be presented in EBA (Education and Information Network which is designed by our Ministry of Education). So it will be popularised in all over the country.
