After a sucesfull implementation of the First Edition of project "Teenage: Active Citizens of Tomorrow - T.A.C.T." as well as great interest shared within the network all partner organizations involved in the past project belong to - Alliance of International Voluntary Service Organizations - we decided to go further in development of this project. It is a multi-action project, with two main activities - training course and a youth exchange. Main difference compare to the previous project is an additional activity which is to be added - a youth exchange as a practice phase. The project is imagined as a follow up activity and therefore will bring together partners involved in the first edition who are based in France, Italy and Serbia, while in its second edition it will expend to new partners coming from Ukraine, Armenia, Belgium, Spain and Czech Republic. All the partners are member of the same network - Alliance of International Voluntary Service Organizations. The reason we want to develop this project came out of needs assessment of our short-term and long-term voluntary projects. The great interest of teenagers (14-17 years old) coming from Germany to join our camps or go abroad to teenage camps as well as interest of foreign teenagers to come to Germany to attend a camp or other type of voluntary project started increasing over the years and showing in the evaluation forms or few teenage projects that exist within IJGD and our partner organizations. Overall aim of the project is to increase number of teenage projects in Germany and further more abroad, through our partner organizations by understanding all the specific needs teenagers have as well as summing up all the requirements necessary to develop such projects related to legal and organizational issues, educational approach and cooperation with the local partners.Specific objectives are:1) to test the guidelines for the leaders of the teenage projects developed in the first edition of this project;2) to develop further the nonformal education approach to work with an international group of teenagers age 14-17 years;3) to further share good practices in implementation of teenage activities in different countries among the partner organizations, especially between partners of the first edition of the project with the new partners invited to join its second edition:4) to create a base of youth workers and community leaders interested in running teenage projects;Training will be held in Berlin April 1-9th and it will bring together 26 youth leaders.Youth Exchange will be held in Nuernberg, July 9-24th and it will bring together 21 teenagers and 5 group leaders.
