TÉCNICOS DEPORTIVOS DE BALONCESTO
Date du début: 1 sept. 2014, Date de fin: 31 août 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The sucessful experience of our recent Da Vinci Program in Eskilstuna (Sweden) with Eskisltuna Basket, made ourself planning the project for next 2 years due to keep this activity between the students/teachers of vocational training course and improving even more the close collaboration with Swedish club and the new german partner Basketabll Ulm. The project has achieved 100 % of mobilities : 12 for students and 12 for staff of VT of Technical Sport of Basketball , who have completed their training in European workplaces having a unique experience for 1 students month and 1 week for staff . Main objectives which have been accomplished are: -learning and understanding the work of a professional club in all aspects. From Swedish club we knew its organization was ideal for the profile of our students who are learning first steps into basketball coaching. Basketball Ulm has been a great discovery, a real excellent place for students and staff. -experiencing all aspects that a technician of a professional club must control, from the smallest to the largest. We checked that any country or culture have in common a lot of elements in the way of coaching in former teams. So we lived fully the roots of this occupation. - transmit personal, social values and healthy habits. Everyone in the mobilities tried to give our personal point of view in the day to day of teams, respecting their pecualiarities of course. The relationships with staff of club, players and parents were closer than last Da Vinci program for example. -imbue regional culture focusing especially on language and the specific terminology of basketball. Swedish club opened its doors because of experience of last year. In Ulm was a bit difficult at first because the English language was less spoken in former teams. Finally the second year was much better in this matter. - using an open methodology, adapted and promoting the principles of European Union. Related to last 2 objectives, multiculturalism found in both venues made easier this point. -knowing the legal, socio-economic and institutional field of basketball. Teachers have learnt a lot here, so there were many differences ways of view the basketball from a point of view professional: organization, structure,…also between Sweden and Germany. Other objectives accomplished partially: - organize, design and strengthen the activities related to development of sport activity of team of the club. In Ulm they had some reticent at first to leave the students coaching alone the teams and sport manager was very busy but second year this question improved. - interpreting technical information related to their professional duties. Some student had quite problems in the day to day at court when he was running the practice. In fact, we will be emphasize language formation in court before the mobility. The students were chosen for these mobilities acording strictly to their academic performance, relationship/integration capability in the world of work, motivation and attitude and basic English knowledge and predisposition for its improvement. Such as we expect, there was an increasing of enrolment and assistance to clasess higher than Da Vinci program. The final results of this project left an unique and specific preparation of the pupil in the field of professional basketball and also a real and valid practice for the progress of English in general as well as the technical terminology of the sport. In case of staff, we search to improve their teaching quality and encourage new relations with European partners. The impact has been much better of expected regarding Da Vinci program: staff and students more motivated and prepared for knowing the reality of the job for what they are studyng. Of course, to develop the adaptation skills, language and comprehensive formation which supposes staying in an European country. The recent Erasmus+ program too has been very publicized by the local media and social nets. A lot of people in the basketball world of the region knows about our positive experience abroad. In the long term, we hope to have the higher number of students working in the basketball business, prepared for travel abroad if it was necessary. We will kepp a high number of mobilities yearly and establishing the principles of EU promoting the participation in the new options of Erasmus+ program: Sport, mobilities for short cycle thanks to Erasmus Charter,…
