Technics Handicraft Exchange Around The European Regions

The THEATER -Technics Handicraft Exchange Around The European Regions-project aims at developing an innovative panel of non-formal training opportunities for youngsters interested in finding in Theatre an attractive "place" for living and working, most of all in the filed of costumes design and sets constructions. Some traditional and very knowledge-based professions are at risks of desappearing, expecially in those countries where the tradition is deeply embedded in handicraft with a non-codified knowledge trasmission. It is worthwhile to develop both novel ways of cooperation for make the world of theatre and applied arts newly attactive for young generations and for innovate the traditional working techniques thanks to contamination processes. The partners, all Centres of excellence in the filed, intend to make shared efforts for obtaining the above mentioned objectives. The mailnactions/outputs of the project are the following: - Realization of a Comparative European Research about clusters of key competences connected to costumes design and schenographies construztion;- Development of Guide Lines for designing novel non-formal learning and training activities for new costumes designers and schenographers;- Testing of thematic laboratories for development of innovation in the filed of costumes and sets, experimeting new work techniques, new unusual materials, also unconventional treatments, t(hrough blended mobility);- Development a European Platform and resources centre for valorization and innovation of theatre and applied arts professions, that will manteined over the project as a real international network.Direct Beneficiaries:Youngsters,Entreprises,Stakeholders, Public Administrators, Educational Systems.
