TEBIT will develop and pilot a series of training modules in e-Business for use by SMEs in the tourism sector.Following an initial evaluation of the sector, to both assess existing training provision and analyse training need in e-Business, the project will produce a summative report on the findings of the evaluation to form the basis of a common model for future training needs.Building upon the results of the analysis, sector specific modules will be produced for initial piloting across the industry in each of the partner countries. The finished modules will be circulated, on CD-Rom, in both English and all partner languages (BG, DE, FR & EL) with several seminars planned to further introduce the training modules into the sector.A dedicated website will also be developed to support TEBIT and this will feature further on-line support for those undergoing the new modular training. Following release of the TEBIT modules the partnership will undergo an initial approach for accreditation in each of the partner countries.Dissemination of the results is also planned through the circulation of information to existing partner networks & relevant professional bodies and through specialist journals and newsletters relevant to the sector.
