San Patricio School is a private, family institution dedicated to education, which has three schools in the north of Madrid. In the first two, three and four years of kindergarten are attended and all the courses of primary education. In the third, ESO and Bachillerato are taught. In our school project, the students' knowledge becomes essential to all our educational activity. Teachers develop their work with students to strengthen their self-esteem, helping to discover and develop their own values, respecting their own pace and recognizing their efforts to generate a tight, positive self-concept. We seek effective learning, focused on the acquisition of basic skills, and a solid academic foundation of rigorous training which enhances the intellectual abilities of all students. We encourage students’ interest for their own learning and work, as well as science, art and culture. From there we define our European development plan based on continuous improvement. The objectives of our European Development Plan are:1.- To think on how to maintain a comprehensive approach to learning, developing logical reasoning, encouraging thinking skills and developing new learning strategies.2. To encourage learning with the use of new technologies, and encourage interest in scientific innovation through laboratory practice and research, having opportunities to learn from our European colleagues on how to deal with this learning, so that they are motivating for students and helpful for their future in an increasingly competitive job market.3- To achieve learning English as a second language, from the beginning of their schooling in kindergarten, and to introduce the learning of other languages. To introduce students in the second language (English) from the beginning of their school life, and to develop the skills of reading and writing in parallel to the acquisition of the same in their own language along throughout their schooling. But we also need to focus their learning on the future of the students out of our schools. To discover the entrepreneurship work that can be done from the school in a foreign language to give our students essential tools which enable them to become active European citizens.4. To encourage students’ participation in optional subjects of a third language, providing teachers who teach them the skills and competencies necessary to carry out the teaching and learning processes which are attractive to students and useful in strengthening their learning.5. To focus on the internalization of our school through mobility projects in which we hope to establish contact with European colleagues to undertake the implementation of new initiatives within the framework of the Erasmus + programmes bearing in mind doing mobility activities with students in the future.We want to develop this project to try to achieve our objectives, improving the overall educational opportunities offered to our students. Our objectives are:- To integrate the theoretical foundations of the curricular project with the educational experience. To use all what we learn in the different mobility activities.- To incorporate the progresses of Science in order to redefine the areas or subjects and their methodology, providing them with new international approaches to contribute to the Universality of Science.- To maintain evaluation criteria of the learning model which allows us to adapt our teaching practice to achieve our objectives as regards learning within the project area into the classroom.-To focus on the third language learning in our school. To provide training to teachers in these areas to enhance participation in second foreign language subjects by the students by the implementation of innovative methodologies for teaching subjects using German or French as vehicular languages.- To make contacts with European schools to build links and continue working under the Erasmus + programme.
